My Name is Alex Jarvis, and I am here to officially announce a new podcast, entitled INPUT/OUTCAST.

“But, Alex, you silly bastard, there are hundreds of podcasts out there that I already ignore. Why should I care about yours?”

I’ll let my cohort, Rachel Mercer, tell you why.

First off, we’re very excited to announce our new-media oriented podcast. Basically, we’re geeks. Geeks who have a lot of interest in comic books, movies, television, and all kinds of media.

The problem that we encountered:

For every one of our interests, we had to download 6 different hour-long podcasts, which left us feeling unfufilled and dissapointed — much like that stomach-dropping experience that happens every time you die during a raid or have a bad die roll.

Our solution:

Do it yourself! We wanted to share and talk about all our interests, in one place — and bring it to you! Feel free to share your opinions and thoughts with us. Want us to do an episode discussing Neil Gaiman’s greatness? Sure! Star Trek vs. Star Wars? We’re on board for that battle. Did you read the latest issue of Wired? You Betcha. We’re ready to talk about anything and everything you like — so don’t hesitate to contact us at inputoutcast@gmail.com with any suggestions that you may have — we really want to make this shit epic, and I’m sure we can’t do it without you.

We’ll be uploading our first three episodes in the next few days and are working on a weekly release for the general public. Enjoy!
